We are looking for a junior customer-facing consultant to join our security assurance practice, working with top Canadian and international clients, helping them evaluate the technical risks associated with their technology, cloud and applications.
Your role will include:
The Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by generating new business through sales calls, meetings and prospecting of local, medium/large sized businesses and clients within an Application Development and IT Security environment.
This is an individual contributor role and will have a close working relationship with the sales leadership team. The Account Executive must provide outstanding sales skills and the ability to work with a virtual team to ensure they achieve financial targets and ultimately drive Parabellyx’ growth objectives.
This Sales Professional must develop and lead Parabellyx’ efforts to engage, manage, and grow relationships with 3rd party application developers, application development teams, and Cyber Security teams for security/development support, and/or strategic alliance development for go-to market.
- The Account Executive will be a high-energy individual with a strong work ethic and a history of resolve and successful accomplishment, which includes a strong focus on driving revenues.
- The ability to effectively communicate with peers, superiors, and reports both verbally and in written format is extremely important.

- Strong knowledge of Sales trends, best practices, and repeatable processes that work effectively in a world-class sales environment.

Experience:
- Must have experience with Application Development/DevOps Sales and/or Cyber Security services of at least 3-5+ years or more
- Must have a portfolio of 10-15 accounts (at a management level, including Application Development Team decision makers) in the Application Development / DevOps / DevSecOps sector that will meet with them within the first 90 days.
- Must have experience in hands-on selling complex security or DevOps solutions into Development Leads, and Product Managers, and Security Leads within mid-sized to large organizations.
Skills:
- Must be able to create compelling presentations to management-level prospects
- Must be able to qualify new leads
- Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills. The ability to converse and present confidently at all levels of an organization is required.
- Ideal candidate will have related sales experience with software development, testing or similar technologies
- Nice to have: Contract / Statement of Work creation experience
- Nice to have: Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, products, and competitor offerings

The ideal candidate will have a base knowledge of Application Development Process and Cycles, Cyber Security, IT and Cloud services industry/technologies, market accepted services, value propositions, and an aggressive approach towards business development.
This role will also be responsible for the execution of quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Compensation consists of base salary, plus commission. Base salary will be competitive, commensurate with experience, and commissions will not be capped.
